The group's material appeals to casual listeners and serious connoisseurs alike. Led by New Westminster based drummer MacLachlan, who has been playing jazz for 4 decades, the group features well known Vancouver based saxophonist Ben Lockwood, emerging talent Emilio Suarez on upright bass and seasoned player Tim Wyatt on keyboards. These musicians have played together in various working environments over the past 5 years but have recently coalesced in this configuration to present favorites from MacLachlan's book of standards with a few originals from other band members added to the mix.
