Thursday, July 6, 2023 – 7:00 pm | Quayside Voices | ![]() | Quayside Voices is a Canadian Vocal band based out of New Westminster BC. Our music is brought to life with drums, keyboards, and bass - but with a twist, all of those sounds are created using our voices! Established in 2014, Quayside's put together hundreds of songs and continues to elevate each performance with high energy and impactful movement. Stephanie Lam, Troy Martell, Aerhyn Lau, Daniel Young, and Elyse Kantonen make up the quintet along with Emil Wu as their Sound Engineer. Quayside’s also collaborated with vocal bands across the country including Victoria’s Fifth Street, Edmonton’s 6 Minute Warning, and Toronto’s Countermeasure. Internationally, they’ve produced and shared the stage with world-renowned artists The Real Group. They have performed across the globe in various musical tribute acts, bands and theatrical productions. Kyrst has worked as a singer in the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes Show, for Norwegian Cruise Lines and more. Doug has performed in New York and on tour with the percussion phenomenon, STOMP! and was a featured vocalist on Trans-Siberian Orchestra's first two albums. |

Saturday, July 8, 2023 - 2:00 pm | Headlong Hearts | ![]() | Headlong Hearts are a Vancouver-based roots band composed of five seasoned veterans of the west coast live music scene. A decades-long musical trust, they write great original songs, sing in stacked harmony, and deliver ace musicianship on guitars, violin, banjo, mandolin, bass and drums. Headlong Hearts are entertainers first and are always focused on making a great experience for audiences. The band’s most recent recording - an 10-original song album “What We Call Forever” – was released in summer 2022. The band includes former members of Grapes of Wrath, the Paperboys, and many other bands known well in the bluegrass, country, celtic, folk scene. |
Saturday, July 8, 2023 - 3:00 pm | Harris and Debray | ![]() | Made up of singer Leslie Harris (vocals and percussion) and guitarist Curtis DeBray (acoustic guitar and vocals) Harris&DeBray is wowing audiences in venues across the lower mainland with its hip renditions of traditional blues songs, roots classics and new original music. The dynamic blues/roots duo Harris&DeBray is an offshoot of the popular Vancouver act Lesismore. Made up of singer Leslie Harris (vocals and percussion) and guitarist Curtis DeBray (acoustic guitar and vocals) it is wowing audiences in venues across the lower mainland with its hip renditions of traditional blues songs, some roots classics and new original music. They opened for the legendary Powder Blues Band to a sold-out Rio Theatre in May 2022 and Suzie Vinnick (award-winning blues artist) the year before. Their first CD, “Passin’ Time” has been in the top 40 on Reverbnation’s Blues Chart ever since its release. |

Roving, performing, improvising, and taking all sorts of requests, the accordion stretches and squeezes to the delight of all audiences. With a wide range of repertoire, classic and original pieces are inspired by Pop, Klezmer, Canadiana, Classic, Disney, Nursery Rhymes, and popular titles, bellow and sing along as the children dance, the adults laugh, and the grandparents clap! |

She is versatile in various dance forms with a strong foundation in Bollywood and Hip-hop. Having performed for several stage shows and competitions in Kuwait, Mumbai, Kamloops and Vancouver, she seizes every opportunity that comes her way. She is super excited to share her expertise and knowledge with all her students while living out her dream as a Dance Instructor. |

Allow us to take you on a journey through new and intriguing soundscapes, as we traverse the decades and transcend the genres with playful irreverence. |

We have been together since 2012 and we keep growing, with 25 official members. We consider ourselves a family, a community united in our love for sharing Afrobeat music, African culture and celebrating the vast and diverse human landscape of Canada and Africa. We are multicultural, multiethnic and everyone is welcome. Our band leader, Toyin Kayo-Ajayi is originally from Nigeria and he started the band to create a space of community and inclusivity, and to celebrate his inspiration, Fela Kuti, Nigerian human rights and social justice warrior! |
