The Fraser River Discovery Centre, located in Downtown New Westminster, is excited to present its next edition of the ongoing ‘Super Saturdays’ family program, taking place on Saturday, January 29th from 10am – 4pm.
When we look out over the Fraser River here in New West, tugboats, log booms, cargo vessels and the bright blue loading cranes in Surrey are a common sight. But how do these machines work, and why are they so important in keeping the economy of the river afloat? In this month’s Super Saturday, we’ll learn a little about these marvelous creations, and design some of our own using Keva Building Blocks in the FRDC program room!
