Join us for a fun, interactive workshop, January 15th at 1:00 pm, as bestselling author Bill Arnott shares proven methods to fully engage the senses (touch, taste, sight, sound, smell) to connect deeply with readers and create your very best writing.
Bill Arnott is an award-winning poet, songwriter, and bestselling author of Gone Viking: A Travel Saga and Gone Viking II: Beyond Boundaries (travel memoirs), The Gamble Novellas (suspense mysteries), Forever Cast in Endless Time (poetry), Allan’s Wishes (all ages fiction), and the #1 Bestseller Bill Arnott’s Beat: Road Stories and Writers’ Tips (nonfiction). His work is published in literary journals and anthologies in Canada, the US, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia, and his column-series Bill Arnott’s Beat is a feature in magazines around the globe. He’s received awards for songwriting, poetry and prose, is a Whistler Independent Book Awards Finalist, ABF International Book Awards Finalist, and Winner of The Miramichi Reader’s 2021 Very Best Book Award for nonfiction. He’s a past writer-in-residence, director on numerous boards, the creator of Bill’s Artist Showcase, and for his Gone Viking expeditions has been granted a Fellowship at London’s Royal Geographical Society. When not trekking the globe with a small pack, weatherproof journal and laughably outdated camera phone, Bill can be found on Canada’s west coast, making music, friends, and showing off his cooking skills as a culinary school dropout. You can find Bill at billarnottaps.wordpress.com and @billarnott_aps.
