Review:
Stet, a troubled and angry 11-year-old orphan from a small Texas town, ends up at a Boy Choir school back East after the death of his single mom. Completely out of his element, he finds himself in a battle of wills with a demanding Choir Master who recognizes a unique talent in this young boy as he pushes him to discover his creative heart and soul in music.

Stet is struggling to get by in a tough neighborhood with an overwhelmed single mom. His school principal is convinced his angelic singing voice is worth championing, but Stet has no idea how it might help him face his dark realities. A sudden accident lands Stet at one of the most elite private boychoir schools in the country. It may be his only hope, but he doesn’t fit in. He has never studied music and is filled with a rage he cannot express. Yet, Stet’s inner grit brings forth an astonishing sound. And the more he sings, the more his passion grows and he begins to catch everyone’s attention. At the same time, no boy singer’s voice can last – or survive adolescence. Change is coming, but with it, a lesson that endures: to make the absolute most of what you’ve got in the moment.
