2015 Music by the River

Thanks to a One Prize Community Grant from Donald’s Market and River Market, the Arts Council of New Westminster has been able to create and present a brand new pilot project called Music by the River featuring over 20 buskers on weekends and holidays down at the River Market boardwalk in New Westminster.

We have received a mountain of applications to this program and we thank everyone for their interest but unfortunately we are unable to accommodate more participants to the program at this time.  If you are interested in being contacted for future busking/musical opportunities please contact us at info@artscouncilnewwest.org

I generally play on Robson street, in Gastown, and until this year, I played at the waterfront. Last December, I decided to add Christmas music to my repertoire and it was very well received and enjoyed. I will find out this week if I made it into the Robson Street Program and the Granville Buskers Program for the summer.
