| ‘City Stage New West’ (formerly known as the
Friends Of Raymond Theatre Company Society) is a not for profit society
formed in 2005 to fill the gap left by the closing of the Raymond Burr
Theatre Company. Our aim is to raise funds and be the vehicle for the
development and production of professional theatre in New Westminster. We

| The choir is established as a course offered
through the Douglas College Community Music School. It's mandate is to
rehearse and perform great works of classical music.
The choir consists of 80 voices of all ages and performs at least
twice/year. We welcome especially tenors and basses!
Rehearsals: Wednesdays 6:45-8:45pm. Dues:$170 annually. Call

100 men, who sing quartet and chorus music in the barbershop style. This
New Westminster chapter ranks high in the Evergreen District(Alaska to
Ohio) and has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, as well as in Salt
Lake City. |

| A mixed choral, the Maple Leaf Singers perform
jazz, rock, blues, classical, spiritual, ethnic, pop, and Broadway. The
four-part harmony group, consisting of approximately 70 members performs
about 25 concerts a year, with an annual Springtime concert. |

| The Massey Theatre Society, a non-profit organization,
consists of an 11 member Board of Directors. Opened in 1949 the theatre,
the largest of its kind outside of Vancouver, seats 1260. Adjacent to
the theatre, the Plaskett Gallery exhibits works of art by artists from
Western Canada and Washington.
